David Scott steps into golfing history at the heart of St Andrews, where fairways meet legend and tradition lives on. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews has appointed Scott as its new Honorary Professional, marking only the sixth such appointment in the Club’s storied legacy.

Born and raised in the spiritual home of golf, Scott brings a lifetime of experience and local heritage to the position. His career spans senior leadership roles at prestigious venues such as Kingsbarns Golf Links and the Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, and most recently, General Manager at Dumbarnie Links.

As a PGA Master Professional and recently elected Captain of the PGA of Great Britain & Ireland, Scott’s appointment adds both honour and expertise to the R&A’s legacy.
