Chris Madsen to Lead LPGA Asia-Pacific
Where global vision meets regional leadership, the LPGA strengthens its ties to Asia with a new appointment set to drive long-term impact.
“Asia is central to the LPGA’s identity, not only because of the events we host there, but also because of the many world-class players from the region and our global corporate partners based there.” – Interim LPGA Commissioner Liz Moore
The LPGA has named Chris Madsen as Managing Director of the Asia-Pacific region, reinforcing its commitment to one of the sport’s most vibrant and competitive arenas. With responsibility for partnerships, events and regional development, Madsen steps into a role pivotal to both the LPGA’s present and future.
In 2025, the LPGA Tour will stage two full swings through Asia, featuring eight events across China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand – a testament to the region’s significance in the league’s global calendar.

Madsen’s appointment brings a decade of experience in elite sport and brand development. From managing Nike’s sports marketing in Southeast Asia and India to launching groundbreaking initiatives with SpoTV and building commercial partnerships at Chelsea Football Club, his career spans industries, borders, and fanbases.
His familiarity with the region is matched by a proven ability to scale growth, nurture athlete development, and steer complex operational strategies.
At CiMSO, we understand that strategic leadership is only as strong as the systems that support it. Whether running an international tour or a regional golf estate, the right infrastructure is essential to deliver excellence.
With fully integrated solutions like CiMSO’s GOLFmanager and INNkeeper, golf and resort properties across Asia and the world are equipped to manage bookings, guest experiences, events and partnerships in real time – ensuring their own operations can match the global standards the LPGA upholds.
Chris Madsen’s arrival signals more than a new chapter – it reflects a long-term investment in the potential of the Asia-Pacific region. Just as the LPGA expands its footprint through leadership and vision, CiMSO continues to empower golf destinations to operate at their best, from tee to green and beyond.
