Are you ready to open post-COVID-19?

A pandemic such as COVID-19 requires adequate planning for re-opening including assumptions that can be reviewed as the situation becomes clearer.

There are many external factors such as decisions by the Government and other external authorities that will influence when various aspects of any plan for re-opening can be set in motion. As this pandemic required a nation-wide lock-down, transport availability will determine when guests, suppliers and employees can gain access to your property.

In the meanwhile, retaining both staff and guest loyalty is a must. The continuity and commitment of staff will prove crucial when re-opening your business. Additionally, customers/guests will look to how local businesses have contributed to the local community during a period of crisis, so keeping customers/guests engaged throughout the process is vital for when things return to the new normal.

World Health Organization

The new normal dictates new regulations and guidelines provided by the World Health Organization for accommodation providers, but also the guests’ expectations for hygiene, cleanliness and safety are markedly different than before. Accommodation providers will now more than ever need to demonstrate to guests and staff that they tick all of the sustainability boxes in their styles of operation.

CiMSO commits to doing its best to continue to support you as our customers, irrespective of the ‘’lock-down’’ situation we find ourselves in. Our team wants to wish you, your family and colleagues all the best during these unprecedented and challenging times and our hearts and prayers are with you.
