CiMSO Live 2025 set a new benchmark for attendance and engagement, reflecting the strength of our local community and a shared commitment to innovation across the Namibian hospitality sector. With 125 attendees, this year’s event at the Arebbusch Travel Lodge delivered a full day of insights, collaboration, and meaningful conversations designed to elevate the future of integrated hospitality technology.

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was energetic, welcoming, and deeply collaborative – exactly what CiMSO Live was created to inspire.

Fostering a Seamlessly-Integrated Hospitality Network

The day began at 08:00 with coffee and networking, allowing guests to reconnect, reflect on the past year in Namibia’s hospitality sector, and share their experiences using CiMSO solutions to enhance daily workflows.

The CiMSO team welcomed attendees, outlined the agenda, and emphasised the driving themes of the event:

  • The Way Forward – Presenting the CiMSO development roadmap and next steps.

Voices from the CiMSO Team

The CiMSO Live team share their reflections on this year’s milestone event:

Johan Marais – Group CMO

“I am very happy about the success of this year’s CiMSO Live. We had about 120 people attending this event, which is the most we have had since the beginning of hosting this event.”

Mia Williams – Administrator

“Being able to assist with CiMSO Live was truly such an amazing opportunity. I made some valuable connections with our clients, and I was able to network with clients with whom I don’t get the opportunity to speak often. CiMSO Live helped us achieve our goals in ensuring that we assist our clients in various areas, and during this experience, I myself gained insight into certain features and settings that benefit our clients. Being able to host CiMSO Live gave us the opportunity to understand our clients’ needs better, as well as to focus on elements that require work or slightly more attention.

Hosting CiMSO Live made me appreciate the relationship I have with our clients, and also to once again appreciate my job even more. After such an experience, I am reminded of why I love my job and how happy I am to be part of the CiMSO Family.”

Tom Davidson – Marketing & Sales Executive

CiMSO’s greatest strength is its reputation. Hosting over 120 members of the Namibian hospitality industry—including decision-makers, thought leaders, and emerging talent—reflects the care and focus we’ve invested in the region.

This sort of event is unique for a software company: we bring together clients and prospects, share our development roadmap, host best-practice sessions, and open the floor to a user forum. Participants can request features or raise challenges, sparking discussion and sharing of solutions. This collaborative environment allows interest in features to be gauged in real time, and the insights gathered are taken to our developers and integrated into the software.

With a system as comprehensive as the CiMSO suite, there are many ways to achieve the same goal. The user forum’s true value lies in professionals exchanging experiences, fostering collaboration, and strengthening the Namibian CiMSO community.

This kind of open, results-driven engagement is rare. Many companies fear public discussion of challenges, but vulnerability builds trust, transparency, and a strong reputation.

I am proud to be part of CiMSO and contribute to its legacy. CiMSO Live 2025 was a resounding success and reinforces our commitment to supporting the Namibian hospitality industry as it reaches new heights.
